This is the first piece, from a total of 6 pieces belonging to the Stitch series. This series marked my first attempt to create sculpted images combining 3D and image manipulation software with fine art techniques. The idea was to explore a sort of pixelation effect combined with 3D forms in order to allow the mind of the viewer to create their own imagined version of the context surrounding the more clearly depicted subject. The original image I used is part of a series of images I took whilst on a trip to Peru, back in August 2009
