Hybrid Installations

This is the hybrid installation I presented at the International Image Festival held in the city of Manizales in May 2018. the viewer was invited to let his/her gaze wander over a modified torus covered with a complex network of images from the city of Medellín that were connected using a digital drawing technique to create a physical META-IMAGE. Two phone-VR headsets were placed in the room to take viewers on a simulated journey inside of the physical piece. To complete the experience, the room was filled with a custom track of electronic music made by Federico Goes, a very talented musician from Colombia.
This is a 4K 360 video that resembles the VR presentation displayed through the VR headset.
