Immersive installation (Projection mapping)
This is a hybrid installation that I have adapted for different formats, originally, it was meant to be a 4-minute looping VR experience. In 2024, I showcased it during the Technicians Exhibition at the London College of Communication – University of the Arts London using a 270-degree immersive projection area fitted with a 5.1 Surround Sound System. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the small sculpture and to step into an 8-minute looping tour inside of it.
The project was originally created in Unity, I made another version for this projection setting, I added a panoramic camera rig provided by the supplier of the system and rendered the project through a Spout connection delivering 7104 pixels by 1080 pixels and 5.1 Surround Sound taking advantage of Unity spatialization effects.
Immersive installation (VR standalone application)
VR Experience
This version was created as a seated standalone VR experience as it requires the viewer to stay inside a safe perimeter whilst looking around, no interaction has been assigned to the controllers. The content plays on a loop and is repeated every 4 minutes. All soundtracks were set up as spatial sound components and some of them where animated.
Physical Sculpture
This is 3D color pencil drawing depicting a tropical landscape, the piece should be placed on top of a mirror to make it easier for the viewer to explore it from all angles.
Media: Sculpture – Colour pencil.
Size: 22 cm Length – 13 cm Width – 11 cm Height
This is a video that illustrates the components of the installation.
