Air Morphologies – Immersive Installation (2022) Commission

As a co-founder of ARTSXR, I was entrusted with the task of creating an immersive animation in collaboration with the Matterlurgy Duo. This animation, designed as a seamless looping sequence of 2 minutes and 30 seconds, was rendered at a resolution of 15,360 x 3,456 pixels. It was then projected onto a 360-degree display (excluding a gap at the entrance) as part of the In the Air exhibition at the Wellcome Collection.

This was a two-month animation project requiring constant communication with the duo, they were in charge of creative decisions and worked on the sound design (performance) for the piece. The screen had a 5.1 Surround Sound System with 5 pendant speakers.
